How It Started
I’m a photographer, purely by fate!
In the spring of 1990, I arrived at work early due to good luck on the drive in. My reward for being the first through the door was to be given a photography course. I didn’t fully appreciate my good fortune at that stage.
Two months later, my work life underwent a significant change due to my newfound photography skills. I was in demand to photograph this and that. Five years later, I left that position and became a self-employed, full-time photographer. I photographed a diverse range of genres and undertook various projects. These days, I would describe myself as an eclectic photographer. Hence the name of this self-indulgent website.
How It’s Going
I love photography; I also love talking about it! I love the cameras and the lenses. Photography gives me so much pleasure! I’ve had more than my fair share of camera equipment. It’s a familiar pattern for most photographers!
It’s a lifelong learning process; you can never know everything. There’s always something new to learn. There’s always something new to photograph.
I’ve been using Photoshop since the early 1990s and use various other software to process my photographs. My current favourite RAW image converter is Canon DPP4. I use 35mm Canon DSLRs and lenses.
I photograph whatever, anything and everything! If you’d like to know more or have any questions? Drop me a message.
